By 2015, 1.8 had come around. World generation would change, so starting fresh made sense.

Zothique saw the construction of Desovar, the spawn city, which was the home to dozens of sksycrapers and a sprawling residential area dubbed Twin Pines. The world was connected via rail to all major cities for tens of thousands of blocks.

RyanPhantom famously built the city of Aradia southeast of Desovar. Rottorz was well known for his love of exploration as he proceeded to, almost entirely by himself, uncover the entire dynmap. And this was well before Elytras, so he had to do it on foot! He built some iconic Ravenkraft builds like the Redstone Pyramid.

Twin Pines, Desovar's residential district, was built throughout the years by dozens of players.

When 1.9 was released, Elytras were introduced. MickyMack built what he dubbed "boat launcher towers" where the collision caused by hundreds of boats stuffed into a single block would shoot you out into the distance, giving you a massive boost. Timed right, you could fly upwards until you ran out of speed and then coast for a good 1000 or so blocks. When these were built, rockets were not yet implemented, so they were excellent ways to get around.

Zothique was ComradeFeliks's first world on Ravenkraft.

This era proved to be Ravenkraft's most active. It was the golden era for the server and thousands of players had come and gone in the more than two years it remained active.
