It is one of several Swedish-named settlements in the western reaches of Bankrekka, alongside [[Nya Alvsborg]], [[Göteborg]], and [[Feronia]]. One of its oldest structures is the '''Travelers Inn''', built on February 25, 2022. The settlement received a formal TrainCarts station — the '''Centralstation''' — in 2025.

The '''Centralstation Götakolonierna''' (−1821, 81, −180) was established in two phases: an initial station structure dated April 11, 2025, and a second phase dated June 12, 2025. A town entrance signpost near the south approach reads: ''"Götakolonierna ∧ — Inn ←"'' directing travelers toward the inn.
