Editing Nether Express

The '''Nether Express''' is Ravenkraft's nether highway network connecting settlements across Bankrekka. Travel through the nether is approximately 8x faster than the overworld — one block of nether distance equals eight overworld blocks.

== Origins ==

The Nether Express has roots going back to [[Zothique]], where [[ComradeFeliks]] designed an ice road superhighway running just under the Nether Roof to connect the world's major cities.

When the Nether was wiped in [[Diaspora]] on the release of 1.16 (to allow new biomes to generate), the system was redesigned from scratch. The new Diaspora Nether Express ran at level 65, capped with one of [[Wizardofire]]'s glass dome hub designs at exactly 0, 0, shooting highways off in all four cardinal directions. The hub layout and construction ledger from this era are documented in [[Nether (Diaspora)]].

The current Bankrekka network continues this tradition, linking [[Cities|72+ settlements]] and growing.
