The Arena sits within the western reaches of r.-1.0, in the contested territory between the [[Fort Phantom II]] perimeter and the [[Archean Empire]] boundary markers. Construction appears to have been underway in 2016 — a large supply complex of labeled material chests survives at -122 to -128, z:347-374, stocked with cobblestone, stone brick, wood, wool, tools, and mob drops for the build.

The elevated artifact platform at y:97 is the oldest surviving feature: a display sign commemorating "the first fire pit, gladitorial battles" and a nearby [[Server Meeting]] marker dated 8/13/16, suggesting the site also served as a community gathering point.
