Fort Stibnite is a military outpost of the Archean Empire in Zothique, located at approximately Template:Coords in Region r.-2.0. It represents the westernmost confirmed fortified position of the Archean Empire in Zothique's Overworld.
The fort is named for stibnite, a lead-grey mineral (antimony trisulfide, Sb₂S₃) used historically in metallurgy and cosmetics. The Archean Empire's practice of naming installations after minerals is consistent with other known sites in their territory.
Overview
Fort Stibnite sits at the far western edge of Archean Empire-claimed land. Boundary markers labelled "ARC EMP" have been documented in Region r.-2.0 from approximately x:−512 to x:−1008, running along z:0 to z:171. Fort Stibnite, at x:−692, sits near the centre of this western extent.
Beyond x:−1008, no ARC EMP markers have been found, suggesting the fort marked the de facto western frontier of the empire.
Vicinity
- Rot's Hideaway — a personal retreat belonging to Rottorz at approximately Template:Coords, approximately 320 metres south of the fort in the same region. The structure is unaffiliated with the Archean Empire and appears to be a private build within loosely claimed imperial territory.
