The Oasis was both a named location and one of zothique's recognised political factions (listed on the Neo-Taconia political board at 559/91/288). It was reachable via the SOUTH MAIN rail line, which also connected to Rainbow District and Cangrejos.
The Rainbow District railroad compass (at 497, 83, 469) listed "The Oasis" explicitly in the southern direction alongside Haven and Cangrejos.

The Oasis was listed as an independent faction on the faction noticeboard at Neo-Taconia. No named leader is recorded in the sign data.
