Arctic Emerald is an Alpha Centauri IV era player. He arrived into a community already thick with history, was welcomed warmly, and then, somewhere in the nether, accidentally killed a phantom named after one of the most beloved absent members of that community. He knew immediately. He owned it completely. He tried to fix it. He faced trial. These are, in the documented view of the Ravenkraft server, the marks of a person worth knowing.
The Incident[edit]
Prior to March 2025, a phantom named RyanPhantom — a tribute to the absent founder of Cangrejos and Aradia — was living in the nether. Fox_Girl_Storm has noted she had previously lost him herself. These things happen in nethers.
Arctic Emerald killed it while passing through. His response upon learning what the phantom was:
Oh no I'm so sorry what have I done
I'll atone for my sins
That night — approximately 12:05 AM — he introduced a replacement phantom named Mr. Huggy Jr.:
I know he isnt the same but I hope we may accept Mr Huggy Jr, long may he live
M3lon8r reviewed Mr. Huggy Jr. and issued the following statement: Ya know, I appreciate the effort. Hope the judge takes it into account. The judge did not take it into account.
The Trial[edit]

@Arctic Emerald, you are hereby ordered to appear before the Ravenport Court on Saturday, March 22 at 7 PM CST to answer to the charge of Murder of RyanPhantom the Phantom as set forth in the indictment filed against you by @m3lon sprout.
WondrousWally was appointed defense counsel. His first advisory:
I am advising my client at this time to no longer engauge in coversations with the law.
Arctic Emerald: Ayo I'm layered up.
Pre-trial, Arctic Emerald offered the community a good-faith gesture:
Btw if anyone is taking blaze rods as bribes gratuities I got you
The distinction between "bribes" and "gratuities" was noted by bhelley, who cited Supreme Court precedent. Arctic Emerald confirmed: Yes yes thats right gratuities.
Linatic presided. MickyMack (Cyborg Law Offices) prosecuted. The trial drew fifteen players simultaneously. Arctic Emerald was found guilty. Mr. Huggy Jr. was not taken into account.
Post-trial, Arctic Emerald offered this summary:
