Overview[edit]

Babel is built around a Mesopotamian-inspired city plan with named avenues and boulevards. Despite being listed as incomplete, it features a working warehouse, stables, a radio station, a quest system, and proximity to the historic EDEN landmark. Its key builders — wizardofire, Rottorz, MickyMack, and RawrSaysMeXD — are listed on a community sign at 756–766, 69, 1223.

Street Grid[edit]

Babel's roads are named after figures and concepts from ancient Mesopotamian mythology:

Nintu Avenue — east–west artery (766, 70, 1230 and 782, 70, 1301)
Ishtar Boulevard — north–south artery (769, 70, 1278 and 783, 70, 1300)
Gilgamesh Street — cross-street (692, 71, 1319 and 692, 71, 1321)
Apsu Street — referenced at 797, 70, 1331

Notable Landmarks[edit]

EDEN[edit]

A protected server landmark at 810–812, 71, 1462 with signs: "EDEN — Established April 2014 — Please do not touch, grief, or otherwise change anything." EDEN is notable as one of the earliest constructions on Zothique, predating most other cities.
