Nya Alvsborg

Nya Alvsborg (Swedish: New Älvsborg) is a settlement in Bankrekka at (−2632, 71, −376), founded in January 2022 by a player operating under the name Nik (Nik Mining Inc. / Nik Co.). It is one of the most extensively developed settlements in the western corridor, with a continuous build history from 2022 through 2025. The settlement shares a region with Feronia to the west.

Founding

The First Settler Hut (−2627, 65, −255), dated January 20, 2022, marks the original founding point of the settlement. A Museum of First Settlement (−2629, 68, −263), established April 22, 2024, commemorates this history.

Nik Mining Inc.

Nik Mining Inc. is the dominant company of Nya Alvsborg, established in early 2022:

Old Market Square

The Old Market Square (−2594, 71, −402 and −2585, 71, −379) was established September 19, 2025. It carries a Nik Co. greeting on its back face.

Tree Farm

A comprehensive tree farm at (−2615, various y, −457) covers all major wood types: Oak, Birch, Acacia, Dark Oak, Cherry, Pale Oak, Spruce, and Jungle.

Industrial Modules

A series of Modules at approximately (−2597 to −2640, y=16–25) were established in April 2024, designed by Gnembon (as noted on a sign, Est. March 24, 2024).

Enchanted Book Shop

A large enchanted book shop at (−2667, 66, z=−411 to −287) sells individual enchantments by the book, with prices listed in emeralds (e.g., Feather Falling IV for 14, Sharpness V for 17). An adjacent organised enchantment rack (−2594 to −2580, y=64–74, z=−354 to −360) organises books by enchantment type: Mending, Silk Touch, Fortune, Efficiency, Flame, Unbreaking, and all others.
