Stalin77

Stalin77 (also seen as Stalin_77 and StAlin_77 in sign text) is an Alpha Centauri IV-era founding-cohort player, Mayor of Sher, co-builder of Archea, and one of the community's early event organizers.

Overview

Stalin77 is listed among the founding cohort of Alpha Centauri IV alongside justin1423, Mattfu, ParadigmPlague, Shammon, and theoubre — the players who were present when the server's first sustained era began. His largest project was the City of Sher, a closed industrial city-state that he governed as Mayor, which the Alphac Nether Hub listed as a primary destination alongside the server's largest settlements.

He was also a resident of Archea, co-built in the Sutherland corridor alongside Moose696 and Mattfu, and maintained a residence in Taconia. His presence appears across at least four named alphac settlements.

Alpha Centauri IV

Sher

Sher (officially the City of Sher, sometimes State of Sher) was Stalin77's home city, occupying approximately 1664–1840, 55–82, 1540–1882 in the overworld. The Nether Hub designation read: City of Sher — Mayor: Stalin_77 — Closed City — the "closed" status indicating restricted settlement rights, with Stalin77 controlling who could establish in the area.

A land claim sign at 1689, 63, 1602 reads: "This land is claimed by StAlin and his comrades." A sub-district marker at 1763, 65, 1617 reads: "Welcome to the State of Euphoria."

Sher was a major railway hub served by Sher Central Station (1715–1733, 59–64, 1685–1722) on the ARC (Architecture Street Railroad) network, with services to multiple ARC Local stops (Iken, Nocturne, Koi, Titan, Exodus), a Ravenport Express, and an Archea Express. The station was among the most connected in alphac.

Archea Residency

Stalin77 maintained a house at 1521, 76, 2222 in Archea — at ground level in the harbor district, alongside Nickel9 (1494, 78, 2176) and Mattfu (1380, 69, 2105). He is listed as a Notable Resident of Archea.

The wiki entry for Stalin77 records him as co-founder of Archea alongside Mattfu and Moose696, with the city's internal records confirming his residency.

Green Valley District (Sutherland)

At 1578–1581, 108, 2226–2228 in the Sutherland corridor, an offices sign cluster names three players: Mattfu, Moose696, StAlin_77. The Green Valley District marker is at 1580, 63, 2232. The three shared civic territory across the Archea–Sutherland rail corridor.

Taconia Residence

Stalin77 kept a residence in Taconia at 64, 65, 806 — the city-state governed by Albinoawesome (Taco Supreme). The Taconia article notes him as a notable resident alongside the city's founder.

Stalingrad

A settlement in alphac founded by Stalin77 and named after himself, appearing alongside Sher, Archea, and Sutherland in the record of his associated places. The Stalingrad Warehouse in Sher shares the name.

The Mangler

At approximately 1432, 36, 937 (region r.2.1, underground) Stalin77 constructed an elaborate button-and-trap installation containing named contraptions: The Mangler and The Paragrapher. Signs throughout the room taunt players to push buttons:

The installation references a player named Jeka$$. The exact context of that relationship is undocumented.

Naval Battles Event

Stalin77 proposed the Naval Battles event format — ship-to-ship combat modeled on the existing Warzone rules — and opened community discussion on the server forums to establish the ruleset. Alphac had the infrastructure for it: Sher's ARC Navy, the Archean Privateer at Moose696's pirate island, and the broader player-ship fast travel network.

Legendary Items

The Pick and Sickle pickaxe — one of alphac's server Legendary Items — carries the following attributed lore:

It is said that Stalin_77 himself crafted the first Pick and Sickle pickaxe with his own hands, imbuing it with his own unique power over the railroads of Ravenkraft.

Later Eras

No confirmed Zothique or Bankrekka builds are documented. Stalin77 is listed in the Zothique Cemetery near Narita with the epitaph Derailment — the same epitaph as Mattfu, widely interpreted as a shared joke between the two players. No overworld structures in Zothique are attributed to him.
