The Mission to the Goliath was a community event in Bankrekka organized around the inauguration of M3lon8r's build, the Goliath of Raven Bay, in the southeastern waterways. Players traveled to the site in a boat caravan.

The event announcement also offered a second phase: after visiting the Goliath, players would vote from a group list of activities — Classic Adventure Mining, securing an existing Nether Express line, scouting the Winter Event Town, a Travelling Circus branch-mining session, or a Mystery Box activity.

Wizardofire noted the group was looking for a lore keeper for this trip — someone to help track the trip, name some features, leave a book.
