Zeal
Zeal was a PvP world that ran concurrently with Alpha Centauri IV, accessible via a portal in Babel. Unlike the main survival world, Zeal was publicly open — non-whitelisted players who found the server could enter Zeal but could not reach the survival world.
Overview
Land in Zeal was claimed using the Factions plugin. PvP was unrestricted. The intent was to channel PvP-oriented players toward Zeal and away from the survival world, while growing overall server population.
Wizardofire floated a future plan: Zeal would double as a risky long-distance transport corridor — players could move quickly between distant overworld points by cutting through Zeal, but at the risk of encountering hostile factions (a risk/reward mechanic that was never fully implemented).
The Ravenkraft Arcade
Near Zeal's spawn was the early Ravenkraft Arcade — an automated instanced-world system built with web scripts, command blocks, and custom code. It allowed players to load adventure maps, reset PvP arenas, and share instances with others. The adventure map "From Ashes" was the first publicly available title.
This system was a direct conceptual ancestor of RVNKWorlds, the world-management plugin later developed for the network.
