Trial of RyanPhantom
The Trial of RyanPhantom was a community event held on March 22, 2025 at 7 PM CST in Bankrekka, in which Arctic Emerald stood trial for the murder of RyanPhantom — a phantom named after the absent Zothique era player RyanPhantom.
Background[edit]
Prior to March 2025, a phantom named RyanPhantom lived in the nether as a tribute to the absent founder of Cangrejos and Aradia. Arctic Emerald killed it while moving through the nether. He reported the incident to the community immediately and introduced a replacement phantom named Mr. Huggy Jr. that same night.
M3lon8r reviewed Mr. Huggy Jr. and issued the following statement: Ya know, I appreciate the effort. Hope the judge takes it into account.
He then filed a charge.

MickyMack announced the founding of the Cyborg Law Offices (CLO) to prosecute. The founding occurred approximately 20 minutes before case preparation began.
Pre-Trial[edit]
WondrousWally proposed Wizardofire as judge. M3lon8r proposed Linatic. Linatic presided.
MickyMack: Me or my client will not be taking any bribes. Arctic Emerald offered blaze rods as gratuities to the community.
Fox_Girl_Storm served as armor stand consultant for the prosecution's courtroom display, confirming that banners can be displayed on the ground via armor stand.
M3lon8r and MickyMack coordinated courtroom attire.
Verdict[edit]
Fifteen players were online simultaneously. Arctic Emerald was found guilty. Mr. Huggy Jr. was not taken into account.
Post-trial, M3lon8r's statement: it was a bullshit trial and the judge was obviously biased. The judge was Linatic, whom M3lon8r had personally suggested for the role.
