Black Mesa is a nether complex in Zothique owned and operated by the Oasis Mining Company, founded by theoubre. It is located in Zothique nether region r.0.-4, along the Purpur Line corridor north of the Withering Heights interchange.
Overview[edit]
Black Mesa is listed as an Oasis Mining Company property in theoubre's building record and on the Oasis Mining Company article. The nether complex contains four distinct sub-structures, all signed "Black Mesa Northeast Coast":
- Water Temple
- Map Room
- Island Retreat
- Triumphant Arch
The complex was documented in the nether r.0.-4 scan, which also recorded the nearby Acacia Fishing Village (also Oasis Mining), the Mushroom Lake MUSH Hub (under construction), and a Cangrejos Trust connection dated December 31, 2016. Overworld coordinates for Black Mesa are not confirmed — only the nether-side signs are on record.
Context[edit]
Black Mesa sits along the Purpur Line, the northern rail corridor maintained by the Cangrejos Trust (with felixdeportu as primary operator). The same nether zone houses player storage lockers for wizardofire, theoubre, felixdeportu, Storm_Design, Karthuren, DinoGlitch, ShamyGames, and Moonflame — establishing it as an active hub area during the Zothique era.
