Construction[edit]
The Goliath of Raven Bay was constructed by M3lon8r (Melon), one of Ravenkraft's most prolific large-scale builders. The structure is visible from across Raven Bay and stands as a landmark in the southeastern waterways near Ravenport.
Inauguration[edit]
Upon completion, the Goliath was inaugurated with the Mission to the Goliath — a community boat caravan event organized by Wizardofire. Players assembled and travelled by boat from Ravenport out to Raven Bay to pay homage to the newly completed build. The event included a search for a lore keeper to accompany the expedition, name geographical features along the route, and leave a written record in the form of an in-game book.
Following the inauguration, the group chose from a list of follow-on group activities including classic adventure mining, securing a Nether Express line, scouting the Winter Event Town, and a Travelling Circus branch mining session.
