Ravenport is the capital city of Bankrekka, the current survival world of the Ravenkraft Network. Founded in early 2022 by Wizardofire and ComradeFeliks, it is the primary transit hub, player economy hub, and civic centre of the server.

The city occupies region r.-2.0 at coordinates -730, 143, 120 — built atop a high elevation (y=143), suggesting a prominent hilltop or plateau setting above the surrounding terrain.

Founding

Ravenport has two documented foundation events:

February 5, 2022 — Ravenport Plaza established. Considered the civic founding date.
May 7, 2022 — Ravenport Station built; sign records "First Blocks Laid 05/07/2022".

An older "Est. Jan 16½ 2020" sign exists at the commerce district (−548, 67, 73). This likely marks a structure or shop carried over from Alpha Centauri IV by its original builder before Bankrekka's launch.

Overview

Ravenport functions as the commercial, civic, and transit heart of Bankrekka:

The city uses a named street system: Main Street (documented at "Number 1 Main St.") runs along the Z=0 corridor, and Ravenport Avenue is a numbered east–west road (signs document up to 1907 E Ravenport Ave.).

Notable Structures

Ravenport Blimp

A large elevated build accessed via "Blimp Access" at (−650, 124, 152). Extends above y=124, making it one of the highest structures in the city.

Multi-Floor Elevator

An 8-floor elevator system at approximately (−900, Z ~316) with separate up and down shafts. Floors labelled 2–8. Attached to an unidentified large structure on the western edge of the city.

Pixel Art Billboard

A large vertical pixel art installation at (−692, 83–91, 272), composed of 9 rows of sign blocks. Contents and subject not yet confirmed; requires in-game inspection.

Dog Rave

A social space at (−680–681, 102, 142–145) adjacent to the Ravenwood event site. Signs: "dog rave", "dog pool", "dogs below".

Ravenwood Group Build Event — July 23, 2022

A community group build held northwest of the commerce district at (−660, 101, 141). Participants recorded on a commemorative sign:

A player-invented celebration. The Grilled Cheese House at (−571, 70–71, 23) was built and dedicated on this date.

Kilroy Event (date unknown)

Traveling Circus Meetup — September 30, 2023

Held underground at the deep rail level (140, −52, 174) near Bitch, with Ravenport players in attendance: wiz, melon, crump, twinkies, feliks.

Nether Access

The Ravenport Nether portal is mapped at Nether (−65, 65, 14) — the Ravenport (Spawn City) waypoint. At the 8:1 scale, this corresponds to the city's overworld position (−730, 120). Ravenport's portal anchors the Nether hub network for the entire server.
